Board of Directors
The Sunshine Mile Business Association is an Arizona non-profit organization led by a board of directors. For 2021, we’ll be led and supported by:
Andy is along time Tucson resident with family roots going back to Bisbee, AZ. He is one of the pastors of Mission Church, a co-owner of MESA Shop, and the former owner of Midtown Artisans. He has been a part of the SMBA for the past five years, and it’s president the last 2 years.
Florence is a small business owner with her husband, Dustin Ochoa. Together, they own Amazing Discoveries, a retail hobby gaming store with four locations, and an online art gallery in southern Arizona. Her other passion is marketing. She has worked across multiple marketing disciplines in corporate, small business, and higher education. Outside of work, she drags her two toddlers on all outdoorsy adventures, she’s a self-proclaimed ramen enthusiast, and talks during movies.
Monica Hay-Cook is a founding member of the Sunshine Mile Business Association and has owned a shop on the Mile for many years. She and her husband Jude also own Cook & Co. Signmakers and are known for their passion for restoring midcentury neon. If you want to learn a little more about Tucson’s visual history, drop in to Ignite Sign Art Museum and talk to this great lady!
Steven is a music producer and owner of Saint Cecilia Studios. While music has taken him all over the world, Tucson has always been home. In 2019 he and his partner Celeste relocated the studio to its forever home on the Sunshine Mile and back in the city where they were born and raised.
