Board of Directors

The Sunshine Mile Business Association is an Arizona non-profit organization led by a board of directors.  For 2021, we’ll be led and supported by:

Andy Littleton

Andy is along time Tucson resident with family roots going back to Bisbee, AZ. He is one of the pastors of Mission Church, a co-owner of MESA Shop, and the former owner of Midtown Artisans. He has been a part of the SMBA for the past five years, and it’s president the last 2 years.

Shanelle Tanaka
Vice President

Shanelle and partner Andy Suter own and operate Good Eye Living, a modern buy-sell-trade marketplace for unique quality mid century home goods and their new Japanese style coffee shop and convenience store next-door. Originally from California, Shanelle brings her love of midcentury style and architecture and a background in marketing to the SMBA and the Tucson community, for which we are all grateful!

Monica Hay-Cook

Monica Hay-Cook is a founding member of the Sunshine Mile Business Association and has owned a shop on the Mile for many years. She and her husband Jude also own Cook & Co. Signmakers and are known for their passion for restoring midcentury neon. If you want to learn a little more about Tucson’s visual history, drop in to Ignite Sign Art Museum and talk to this great lady!

John Simon

John is a pastor in training at Mission Church and an author for the SMBA and Tucson Foodie. A lifelong Tucsonan, John loves to promote local businesses, restaurants especially! A UArizona graduate, he has also spent time in behavior health and as a martial arts instructor.
