Larry Montoya is the owner of Caps & More which is just a jump south on Tucson & Broadway boulevard. In 2001, he had the chance to take over Caps & More and has never looked back— He says he never thought he’d love it as much as he does. And it’s evident, he really does love it. When you meet Larry, it is very evident that loves people, too. He has a vibrant way about him that makes you instantly feel like you’re part of the family.

In April 2019, Caps & More celebrated its 27th year in business! They have been on the Sunshine Mile since 2001 and Larry likes keeps it local by serving primarily Tucson businesses. They do embroidery, screen printing, school uniforms— you name it!

Larry is one of the founding members of the Sunshine Mile Business Association and has been around for the early days when the Broadway Widening Project was first proposed. Like many Sunshine Mile businesses, Larry knows that there is a long road ahead but he feels generally optimistic about the future.

It’s a hard process when big changes come along, but by supporting the people of Tucson and their businesses, we know we’ll make it through.
