Few local businesses share the same renowned reputation and longevity as Sunshine Mile-business UltraLights Lighting. Founded in 1988, UltraLights has been designing, manufacturing and distributing high-quality American made lighting for over thirty years.
The history of this acclaimed business came to fruition under the leadership of current owners and founders, Barbara and Jim Restin. Barbara is a native Tucsonan through and through, with a brief tenure in Flagstaff and Prescott where she and Jim began their story. Jim, a Tucsonan at heart, came to Arizona after too many frigid Chicago winters and never looked back. As they began to increase their clientele, they moved from their location on Park Avenue to their current fabrication shop on 18th Street. Afterwards they expanded into their central Tucson headquarters off of Broadway and Plumer, with both locations running in sequence.
UltraLights focuses on figuratively welding together two elements into their craft: premium quality and high design. They pride themselves in utilizing top-notch locally sourced materials in all of the work that they produce. Incorporating timeless and remarkable designs is a part of their mantra and work ethic. On top of that, they are committed to following their own environmentally-conscious Green Policy. This plan prioritizes energy efficient technology, climate-friendly procedures, and using biodegradable and recyclable packaging materials. As a result, their craftsmanship can be seen in our local downtown area, as well as in hotels and restaurants, universities and healthcare centers throughout the United States and Canada. A few of their more noteworthy products include their large scale pendant work, corten steel outdoor wall lights, and their full custom and modification capabilities.

UltraLights Lighting is open for business from 7:00am to 4:30pm Mondays through Thursdays.
